The following terms and conditions of participation and data protection notice apply to all prize draws held on the Instagram account “weber.schraubautomaten”. By taking part in a prize draw, participants agree to these terms and conditions.
I. Organiser
The prize draw is organised by WEBER Schraubautomaten GmbH, Hans-Urmiller-Ring 56, 82515 Wolfratshausen, Germany (hereinafter “Organiser”, “we” or “us”).
II. No connection to Instagram/Meta
This promotion is in no way associated with Instagram or Meta and is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Instagram or Meta. The information provided for participation is received not by Instagram but by the Organiser, WEBER Schraubautomaten GmbH.
III. Eligibility
Participation is open only to natural persons aged 18 or over with full legal capacity who are resident in Germany. Employees of WEBER Schraubautomaten GmbH and their relatives are excluded from participation. Only one entry per person is permitted. Multiple entries will result in disqualification.
IV. Rules of participation
Entries are only possible within the specified promotional period, which is stated in the respective prize draw post. The specific conditions of participation are explained in the post for each prize draw. WEBER Schraubautomaten GmbH may ask participants to carry out various actions, such as liking or commenting on a post or following an Instagram account. Details of the prizes and how to participate are provided in the respective prize draw post.
V. Prizes
The winner will receive the prize stated in the respective post. Prizes cannot be paid out in cash or transferred to another person.
VI. Selection and notification of winners
Winners are selected at random. Winners will be notified via direct message on Instagram. Winners must respond within one week of receiving the notification; otherwise, the prize will be awarded to another participant. Winners are responsible for providing correct contact details. If the details are incorrect or incomplete, the prize will be forfeited.
VII. Data protection
The controller responsible for processing personal data is WEBER Schraubautomaten GmbH, Hans-Urmiller-Ring 56, 82515 Wolfratshausen, Germany, email: marketing@weber-online.com.

For the duration of the prize draw, participants’ first name, last name, email address and, where applicable, their answer to the prize draw question will be stored for the purpose of conducting the prize draw, selecting the winners and notifying them.
The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
In order to send the prize, the winner’s postal address will also be collected. The data will be used solely for the purpose of conducting the prize draw and will be deleted no later than four weeks after the prize has been dispatched. Participants may withdraw their consent at any time via Instagram message or by email to marketing@weber-online.com. If consent is withdrawn before the prize has been awarded, participation in the prize draw is no longer possible. Winners will only be named in posts or stories with their express consent. VIII. Exclusion of legal recourse and liability
The decision on the selection of winners is final and not subject to legal recourse. WEBER Schraubautomaten GmbH accepts no liability for technical faults affecting the availability of, or participation in, the prize draw.
IX. Changes to and early termination of the prize draw
WEBER Schraubautomaten GmbH reserves the right to change or terminate the prize draw at any time without prior notice, in particular in the event of force majeure or other important reasons.
X. Applicable law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
