Wolfratshausen – In October 2024, WEBER Schraubautomaten GmbH successfully passed the ISO 14001 surveillance audit and has been certified for the second consecutive year under this internationally recognized standard. Through a comprehensive process conducted by the certification body IFU-CERT, WEBER has demonstrated its continuous commitment to environmental and resource protection, the ongoing improvement of its environmental performance, and informing its employees in this area. The purpose of the internationally recognized standard is to develop and permanently implement sustainable processes in production. As a market leader in fully automated screwdriving technology, WEBER has therefore implemented an effective management system in recent years to identify and control environmental risks, which also includes targeted strategies for resource conservation. “The successful surveillance audit in the second year validates our approach. By meeting international standards in environmental management, we optimize our own measures to minimize environmental impacts that may arise from our business activities. At the same time, we demonstrate that ecological, economic, and social sustainability are inseparably connected and ultimately benefit both the company and our employees,” said Karl Bujnowski, CEO of WEBER.

Commercial Director Michael Paul added that the company will continue to work on innovative solutions to address the challenges of climate change and resource scarcity. Environmental protection is not only important internally for WEBER but also extends across the entire supply chain. Through employee surveys, external support, and intensive dialogue with key stakeholders, WEBER aims to implement its environmental goals even more effectively. WEBER views environmental protection as both a corporate duty and a social responsibility. The company strengthens its competitiveness through these audits and makes a positive contribution to society. Michael Paul: “As a pioneer in complying with environmental management standards, we also want to inspire and encourage other companies to adopt similar sustainable practices. Clearly defining environmental goals not only improves environmental performance but also provides legal certainty and competitive advantages. Our employees become qualified environmental managers, which ultimately enhances our company’s attractiveness as an employer.” WEBER is taking another important step into the future by establishing an integrated management system. This system allows all processes to be managed efficiently and ensures compliance with relevant standards. ISO 9001 has long helped WEBER to maintain quality standards, minimize errors, and improve the productivity and quality of its products and services.
In addition to the ISO-certified environmental management system, recognized certification bodies regularly confirm the quality of corporate governance at WEBER. The so-called TISAX® assessment, which WEBER undergoes, ensures compliance with VDA requirements for information and data security. TISAX® is a registered trademark under the ENX Association. Successfully completing this assessment assures customers and service providers that WEBER fully implements IT and data security in all its processes.
