Erik Höhler is now following in his footsteps: “WEBER has a global presence with its products and solutions and enjoys an excellent reputation amongst customers and partners. This is underpinned by the high quality of our machines and systems, our technological expertise and, above all, long-term, trust-based customer relationships. Dirk Winter has played a key role in shaping this development over more than three decades. Through his close ties with our customers, his keen understanding of markets and his personal commitment, he has built up a strong international sales network. I intend to build on this foundation whilst continuing to develop our sales organisation together with our team. Markets, technologies and economic conditions are changing at a rapid pace – and so, too, are our customers’ requirements. Our task in sales is to recognise these changes at an early stage and consistently incorporate these insights into our company. This also involves continually re-evaluating existing solutions and, together with our customers and our technical departments, successfully bringing new, needs-based products and systems to market.”
During his time at WEBER, Dirk Winter built up a dense network of sales partners who serve international markets directly. Together with WEBER’s international subsidiaries, this has resulted in a comprehensive consultancy, sales and service network. Winter: “For me, sales is not just about having a presence in a market. Above all, it means winning the trust of our customers and reaffirming that trust every single day. This is achieved through maximum reliability, quick response times and comprehensive advice. WEBER will certainly continue to deliver on this promise with its new sales manager, Erik Höhler.” Dirk Winter has no intention of giving up his many travels and interesting encounters even in this new phase of his life: “My travelling will simply shift to my private life.”
Erik Höhler has been with WEBER Schraubautomaten GmbH since 2015 and was responsible for sales in the Chinese market for almost four years before returning to Wolfratshausen to take up the post of Head of International Sales. A qualified industrial engineer and trained mechatronics engineer, he also possesses extensive expertise in automation, fastening and feed systems. Erik Höhler: “For me, sales is first and foremost about listening and understanding: we need to know what our customers need today – and also what challenges they will face tomorrow. This leads to bespoke solutions, expert advice and reliable service. Our customers can continue to expect this level of service from WEBER. I am delighted to take on this responsibility, whilst at the same time holding in high regard what Dirk Winter has built up together with his team. I look forward to shaping the next phase on this strong foundation, together with our team, our subsidiaries and our sales partners.”
Michael Paul, CFO of WEBER, adds: “I wish Erik Höhler every success in his new role – and, not least, enjoyment and fulfilment. With him at the helm, there will be continuity in this role – but also, without a doubt, plenty of fresh impetus for WEBER to continue its innovative approach to sales. I look forward to working with him and to the next milestones in WEBER’s success story.”
